Jose Prendes to Lens Horror Title The Divine Tragedies February 2014!

Director Jose Prendes (The Haunting of Whaley House) and production company Dual Visions have announced that they will be developing another horror title. The new film is titled The Divine Tragedies. And, this film will star Jon Kondelik (Airplane Vs. Volcano) and Graham Denman. The Divine Tragedies will begin shooting this February (2014).

The story for the film involves a series of deadly games. Loosely based on the Leopold and Loeb murder case of 1924, two characters pick the wrong victim, a young single mother, to participate in their sadistic practices.

Director Jose Prendes has compared the film with other horror titles from the past: "It's a serial killer film, but unlike anything you've ever seen before. I know people always say that, but I really think the film will back me up. It's American Psycho meets Videodrome, by way of John Carpenter. I wanted to make something that would really surprise people." Fans of horror can preview the concept poster for The Divine Tragedies (above).
