Holy Ghost People Ensnare the Unwary into a Deadly Cult: Release Details

Mitchell Altieri (The Thompsons), one half of the Butcher Brothers, is the director behind the Southern Gothic thriller Holy Ghost People. This renowned film made waves at the South-By-Southwest Film Festival. And soon, horror fans across North America will be able to see this film for themselves. This title releases February 18th, 2014, on home video formats, through XLrator Media. As well, Holy Ghost People stars Emma Greenwell ("True Blood"), Joe Egender (The Frankenstein Theory) and Brendan McCarthy.

The film's story follows Charlotte (Greenwell), who is in search of her sister. Charlotte enlists the help of an ex-Marine, Wayne (McCarthy), to help find her. Together, they set out for the Appalachian Mtns. and a remote Christian cult. Here, events take a strange twist. Charlotte and Wayne get too close to these twisted kidnappers.
