A Hatchet and the Undead in these Two Early Stills for Dead Snow: Red vs. Dead

The sequel to Tommy Wirkola's (Dead Snow), Dead Snow: Red vs. Dead, will show at the Sundance Film Festival, in 2014. The premiere will take place in mid-January, in Utah. This cast for this title includes: Martin Starr (Superbad), horror veteran Derek Mears and Amrita Acharia.

The film stays with the comedic roots of the original. In Dead Snow: Red vs. Dead, the story brings back Nazi zombies from chilly climes of Norway. Here, a troupe of zombie killers, from America no less, is tasked with reliving certain elements of World War II.

Two new stills have been released for the film (above and below). In one photo, the undead are ready to launch an attack on anyone who gets in their way. A second photo shows one character with a fatal wound, to the head. Both photos are hosted here as the film moves to its World Premiere.
