The Axe Drops July 31st at the Fantasia Film Festival: First Poster

Tagline: "This is no ordinary virus."

Black Fawn Films and Breakthrough Entertainment are set to bring the plague filled Antisocial to the Fantasia Film Festival July 31st. This thriller tells a tale of six friends at a New Year's Eve party; they are surrounded by those infected by a virulent virus. Now, the film's first movie poster has been released!

The graphic shows actress Michelle Mylett as Sam. Sam, apparently, has an axe to grind and she also has murder on the mind. The tagline promises that "this is no ordinary virus." And, Sam shows some signs of infection as seen in her veiny, right arm. The infection spreads in just a few days.

Fans of horror in Quebec are encouraged to head out to the show. Canadian writer Chad Archibald is sure to bring another great tale to the screen as he did with the thriller Neverlost (Neverlost Movie Review on 28DLA).
