The Demented Invade a Small Town: A Preview

The zombies keep on coming and this time Anchor Bay Films will be unleashing the undead. Christopher Roosevelt's The Demented will reach horror fans this Summer. And, the official artwork for the film has been released (seen left).

The film follows several friends, a short vacation and a biological terror. Which element does not belong? That terror takes the form of a virus. And soon, a whole town is shambling about in search of flesh and blood to feast on.

An early still has been released for the film, as well. The photo shows one of the friends interacting with one of flesheaters from the film. An axe promises to decapitate at least one from the hordes. Fans of indie zombie thrillers can preview the film below, with a trailer sure to follow soon.


Release Date: July 30th, 2013 (DVD, Blu-Ray).

Cast: Kayla Ewell, Richard Kohnke, Ashlee Brian, Brittney Alger, Sarah Butler and Michael Welch.
