Backcountry Offers Horrors on the Blackfoot Trail!

Tagline: "If you go into the woods today..."

D Films Corp will begin shooting their survival thriller Backcountry in August of 2013. This title will be shot in the Canadian wilderness and D Films Corp has released a movie poster and synopsis for the film.

The film is not character heavy. Instead, couple Alex and Jenn head into the woods to find the Blackfoot Trail. They become lost at some point and they find themselves in bear country! According to the synopsis, only one character makes it back alive.

The first poster for the film (above) suggests that Alex and Jenn will meet at least one Grizzly bear in the brush. And, the dripping blood, from the graphic, might suggest that this thriller will have a few survivalist horror moments, as well.

More details on Backcountry are below.

Director/writer: Adam MacDonald.

*director Adam MacDonald is also an actor and he appeared, recently, in David Morlet's Home Sweet Home.

**the Blackfoot Trail is found in Calgary, Alberta.
