Hammer Films Creates Poltergeists with The Quiet Ones: A Preview

The United Kingdom based production company Hammer Films is developing another horror feature. After the success of The Woman in Black (2011), Hammer Films is now producing a paranormal thriller titled The Quiet Ones. This film is loosely based on events in the '70s.

Tests were performed during this decade involving telekinesis and telepathy. This film deals more with negative auras, however. One rogue scientist hopes to create a poltergeist with help from two students and a psychiatric patient. The results will be tragic for everyone.

The Quiet Ones began shooting earlier this month in Hertfordshire and Oxfordshire in the UK. And those interested in the paranormal can take a look at the burgeoning cast and crew lists below. This title is expected to release in 2013.
