AMC's "The Walking Dead" to Return Feb 12th: Series Preview

"The Walking Dead" is set to return to screens Feb 12th on AMC, and true to genre, there's no stopping 'em. Well maybe. There are six episodes that are in the can, ready to broadcast; the network confirmed sixteen to air for throughout the 2012 year.

The return of the series will be preceded by a showing of the previous episodes of Seas. 2. When will the pain end… or where is the brainpower needed to exercise self-control? Fortunately, repeats will only serve to remind viewers about important plot points.

Audiences will no doubt guess that Sophia will not be returning. Also the Governor will make his much awaited appearance. Rumour mill suggested that John Hawkes is cast in this role, but those who have been following the news, know this fact is untrue, make-up meister Tom Savini is reported to have been coveting the role. And rumours also report that Shane will be the next character to become a zombie.

To kick off the dead fest will be a Facebook application that AMC launched. The program interfaces with Facebook, and through the camera, viewers can look at what happens whilst escaping from prison. Hopefully the warden won't notice....
