"The Walking Dead" Previews the Zombie Hordes in this Trailer and Interview (Michelle MacLaren)

One has to admit that AMC's marketing team for the upcoming zombie themed show "The Walking Dead" is relentless. Every couple of days something new is developing for this show and this film fan wonders if Seas. 2 can live up to the hype. The latest to come down the stream is a thirty second promotional trailer that shows a lot of violent action, with Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and crew on the run from a zombie horde. The clip is intentionally action packed to possibly appeal to the elusive 18-34 male demographic, who are, arguably, the target audience for the show. The clip can be enjoyed below and the reel might be considered adult themed.

As well, director Michelle MacLaren, director of Seas. 1's "Guts," talks about the ticks, the heat and shooting with a huge cast sheet from the set of "The Walking Dead," in Atlanta, Georgia. MacLaren also works on "Breaking Bad," and she gives filmmakers some tips on how to prepare for shooting the zombie apocalypse military style. The interview is a short, interesting read and also developed by AMC's clever marketing team. Have a look at the interview and the latest clip below.
