id Software Goes Behind the Scenes of Rage (Clip #2 - Settings)

id Software is debuting the second behind-the-scenes film reel for the upcoming digital game Rage. In this five minute clip, the designers talk of the settings and of the characters in the game. Truly a wasteland, the locales from Rage look like something very post-apocalyptic and the graphics stay true to the story. In the Rage universe a massive asteroid strike has reduced mankind to something very primitive. Also, take a closer look at some of the many personalities that you will interact with in the upcoming game, which releases October 4th (PC, PS3, X-Box).

The synopsis for Rage is here:

"Set in the not-too-distant future after an asteroid impacts Earth, you emerge into a vast wasteland to discover humanity working to rebuild itself against such forces as bandit gangs, mutants, and more. Rage promises an experience like no other" (Id).

Release Date: October 4th, 2011 (PC, PS3, X-Box).
