A new poster for Cabin in the Woods is available for horror fans. The newest graphic is a send up of the classic characters who appear in the slasher-in-the-woods type films. There is the scholar, the athlete, the virgin, the fool, and the whore. This reviewer is guessing that the whore gets offed first! As well, the same blood reds and darkness inhabit this poster, while each character is smeared in dark red paint. Does this foretell the characters fate? Horror fans will have to wait until October, 2011 when Lionsgate finally releases this title. The only question that remains: in what format will the film be released? Here is one vote for a theatrical release and fans of this film can look at the cast and crew details below.
