Humanity Unseated as Smartest Species in this Second Trailer for Rise of the Planet of the Apes

A new trailer has been let out of the cage by Twentieth Century Fox. In the clip, there are more shots of the laboratory and of a new drug, which enhances brain development. Humans are soon no longer the smartest species on the planet. James Franco (127 Hours), Andy Serkis (Lord of the Rings), Freida Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire) and Brian Cox (Bourne Supremacy) star in what could be one of the most anticipated summer releases for 2011. The synopsis for Rise of the Planet of the Apes:

"An origin story set in present day San Francisco, where man's own experiments with genetic engineering lead to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war for supremacy" (Hey).
