Dark Horse Comics are Showing Id Software's Rage Early with Arvid Nelson's Graphic Novel

Dark Horse Comics is releasing a graphic novel to tie in with Id Software's release of Rage. The digital game, Rage, will be available in October, 2011 and fans of sci-fi can preview the novel here. Recently, Issue #1 released as of June 22nd and "Rage Issue #1" will cover some of the backstory that led up to the wasteland of the Rage universe e.g the Authority, the Ark.

The plotline for Issue #1 of "Rage" is here:

"The Earth has been devastated by collision with an asteroid, with a tiny fraction of the population surviving in life-sustaining arks, only to awaken in a wasteland controlled by a global military dictatorship called the Authority. But a rescued scientist learns that the Authority has lied to her and the other survivors about how this new world came to be" (Dark Horse).
