MTV to Debut "Teen Wolf" to Audiences June 5th

MTV will be debuting a new youth targeted television series titled "Teen Wolf." Not a remake of Michael J. Fox's films, this television series has a more serious tone, as Scott (Tyler Posey) tries to deal with more than just hormones and social circles. Full moons and gunfire grace this trailer for "Teen Wolf" and fans of the supernatural can watch the first episode of this series June 5th. More hairy details are below.

The synopsis for "Teen Wolf" is here:

"Scott was just a regular guy until one bite changed his life forever.

Now he struggles to understand who he is and what he might become. Is he more wolf than human - or is it the other way around? Whichever it is, it's not going to be easy. Scott will try to control his urges, but mostly he's scared that it's his urges that could end up controlling him" (GeekTyrant).

Release Date: June 5th, 2011 (Television).
