Dance of the Damned to be Remade with Strippers and Vampires for 2012!

A new Dance of the Damned is underway, with Katt Shea (The Rage: Carrie II) at the helm. The original was also produced by Shea and the former 1989 Dance of the Damned involved strip joints and vampires. Now, this creative pairing will be brought to audiences with the help of Roger Corman (Piranha) as producer. Check this film out in 2012, with Dance of the Damned recently moving into production.

The plot outline for Dance of the Damned is here:

"In the original Dance of the Damned, a vampire follows his instincts to a strip joint where he focuses in on one of the performers. He picks her for his meal because she is contemplating suicide, but he wants to share her life before taking it, and during the course of the evening they discuss their differences, their fears, and their lifestyles. As the moment of truth approaches, the woman becomes less sure that she wants to die" (Dance).

Release Date: 2012.

Director/writer: Katt Shea.

Executive producer: Roger Corman.
