Indie Thriller Alert: The Man in the Maze to Unearth Fear this Summer

The Man in the Maze is an independent film that was shot in Alabama, Georgia and Washington State by Applied Art Productions.

The film recently secured distribution for two territories, including North America. The film itself is of Native American folklore. You really do not want to mess with ancient curses. Yet, several hikers do just that and soon, they find themselves trapped within an unending maze.

The synopsis for The Man in the Maze:

"The Man in the Maze centers around four college students on a field trip to learn more about the North American Indian Trail of Tears. While hiking through the woods, however, they stumble upon an Native American burial mound. The site marks the burial spot of a Native American family who died on the trail. The mound was cursed by a distraught family member, and whoever disturbs the burial unleashes trouble and they wind up lost in a maze, terrorized by an unknown force" (Applied Art).

Release Date: Summer, 2011 (North America), May, 2011 (India).

Cast: Andrew Roth, Liana Werner Gray, Erik A. Williams, and Stephanie L. Lomenick.
