Distributor Maya Entertainment Prepares Darkness of the Road and Night Crew For Future Thrills

Maya Entertainment is developing at least two upcoming thrillers! The first is titled Night Crew, from director Christian Sesma (Shoot the Hero). The second is titled Darkness of the Road. The Night Crew involves bounty hunters and desperate immigrants; this film is classified as an action adventure. Darkness of the Road centers on a hitchhiker and a disappearing six year old girl. Remember, in film, never pick up hitchhikers; leave them on the side of the road to freeze! Cast and crew info' on this horror feature are still developing.

Maya Entertainment is a film production and distribution company, based in Los Angeles, California. They have a film category of over a hundred films and they focus on material that will appeal to "American Latino and multi-cultural audiences" (Maya). The synopsis for Darkness of the Road:

"A single mother (Siri) and her daughter (Eve), pull over on a desolated road in a moonless desert. Everything seems to be going according to plan as they resume their trip toward a new home... But after meeting Iris, a young female hitchhiker, Siri realizes that her 6 year-old daughter has gone missing. As the search for Eve develops, a merciless force begins to attack and torment the two women, unraveling a world of terror. Siri and Iris must survive this hellish nightmare if they are to discover the terrifying truth behind Eve's disappearance..." (Maya).
