Season 1 of "The Walking Dead" will be Available March 8th on DVD and Blu-Ray

The AMC has just announced that the DVD and Blu-Ray of "The Walking Dead" are available for pre-orders now! Anchor Bay is facilitating the release and those who order can expect Season 1 to be mailed March 8th. Other details on this fantastic zombie series remain sparse, but a Quiz for Episode 5 is (here) and the preview clip for Episode 6 is (here). Extra features for the DVD and Blu-Ray release will be posted when available. A few more details are below.


Release Date: March 8th (DVD and Blu-Ray).

Director/writer: Frank Darabont.

Producers: Frank Darabont and Gale Ann Hurd.

Cast: Andrew Lincoln, Jon Bernthal, Laurie Holden, Sarah Wayne Callies, and Emma Bell.

*Retail on the DVD is $27.99 and the Blu-Ray is $34.99.
