A Roll of the Die Could Mean a Second Chance at Life in this Trailer

There is very little information on this Canadian shot film, but Die brings viewers a whole new world of horror; well maybe not completely new. The film involves six self-destructive people, who wake up behind bars. Each of their lives depends on a role of the dice and a new trailer is now available for this feature.

There is an expected 2010 release date for this film in Canada. However, there is no further expectation of territory releases, based on today's knowledge. Caramel Films co-produced this title and horror fans can definitely make comparisons between this title and the Saw franchise. Can you see other similarities to other films? Enjoy the trailer inside courtesy of Film-Book.com and QuietEarth.us.

The synopsis for the film is here:

"Six people, each of them is on the road to self-destruction. They wake up in cells in a surreal facility, without knowing how they got there or why. Are they in denial? Are they crazy? What happened? As they try to figure things out, a mysterious man forces the six abductees to participate in a disturbing experiment called the Trials. During the experiment, the unwilling participants will come to face disturbing truths about themselves and decide each others’ fate in a game of dice. As the storyline unfolds, we discover that something greater connects them all" (Film).

Release Date: 2010 (Canada).

Director: Dominic James.

Writer: Nick Mead and Domenico Salvaggio.

Cast: Emily Hampshire, Elias Koteas, John Pyper-Ferguson, Caterina Murino, and Patricia Mckenzie.

The premise sounds eerily similar to these films as well. Nine Dead has been reviewed (here):
