Liam Neeson is Martin Harris, a Man with Amnesia, in this Trailer for Unknown

Liam Neeson is starring in a new action thriller called Unknown. This film was previously called Unknown White Male, until the change and Warner Bros Pictures will distribute Unknown to several territories including Canada and the US. The launch date is January 7th, 2011 and this film looks very much in the style of Neeson's previous film Taken, which was reviewed (here).

In the trailer, Neeson is Dr. Martin Harris, an academic and professional. Soon Harris is cavalcading through traffic, only to be sent into the river due to a tragic traffic accident. Amnesia sets in and then Harris is conspired against by his wife and her new paramour to believe he is not who he says he is. The trailer for the film is over two minutes long and thriller fans will enjoy this first clip for Unknown below.

"Liam Neeson stars as Dr. Martin Harris, who awakens after a car accident in Berlin to discover that his wife (January Jones) suddenly doesn't recognize him and another man (Aidan Quinn) has assumed his identity.

Ignored by disbelieving authorities and hunted by mysterious assassins, he finds himself alone, tired, and on the run. Aided by an unlikely ally (Diane Kruger), Martin plunges headlong into a deadly mystery that will force him to question his sanity, his identity, and just how far he's willing to go to uncover the truth" (Trailer).
