Michael Allen
"The Walking Dead" television series is only a few weeks away. Are the hairs on your arm standing up? Well they should be and if not this latest behind-the-scenes clip for AMC's latest series will likely do the trick. More footage and some discussion from director Frank Darabont and writer Robert Kirman highlight the video, with some creature effects rounding out this five minute showing. The clip is below.
Also, "The Walking Dead" will be showcasing itself at the New York Comic Con October 10th. Special guest appearances at the event include Kirkman, Darabont, actor Andrew Lincoln, Laurie Holden, Jon Bernthal and others. "The Walking Dead" synopsis:
"'The Walking Dead' tells the story of life following a zombie apocalypse. It follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, traveling in search of a safe and secure home. Andrew Lincoln (Love Actually, Teachers, Strike Back) will portray the lead role of Rick Grimes while actor Jon Bernthal ("The Pacific," The Ghost Writer) will portray the character Shane, who worked with Rick in the police department before the zombie disaster. Other cast includes Laurie Holden ("The Shield"), who plays Andrea, one of two sisters who join the survivors of the zombie plague, Steven Yeun as Glenn, an expert scavenger and Sarah Wayne Callies ("Prison Break"), who plays Rick's wife Lori" (AMC).
Release Date: October 31st, 2010 (Television).
