A Poster Analysis of The Walking Dead's Latest Lonely Graphic

Here is the latest promotional poster for the upcoming zombie television series "The Walking Dead." In the graphic character Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) moseys on up to the big city by horseback. The undead, which haunt the series are absent, but bloody mayhem and chaos are represented by long lines of cars exiting the city and by a derailed train in the right panel. The sun is covered by clouds and this could be symbolic of hopelessness; this is conjecture. Either way, "The Walking Dead" continues to draw closer, with a release October 31st. Revisit several of the clips already posted to create more excitement for this mini-series.

"The Walking Dead" synopsis:

"'The Walking Dead' tells the story of life following a zombie apocalypse. It follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, traveling in search of a safe and secure home. Andrew Lincoln (Love Actually, Teachers, Strike Back) will portray the lead role of Rick Grimes while actor Jon Bernthal ("The Pacific," The Ghost Writer) will portray the character Shane, who worked with Rick in the police department before the zombie disaster. Other cast includes Laurie Holden ("The Shield"), who plays Andrea, one of two sisters who join the survivors of the zombie plague, Steven Yeun as Glenn, an expert scavenger and Sarah Wayne Callies ("Prison Break"), who plays Rick's wife Lori" (Dread Central).

Release Date: October 31st, 2010 (Television).
