Mem Ferda in Cameo Role as Egor and Exec Producer on Thriller Emulsion

As well as a second darkened poster, more exclusive production details are coming this way on Suki Singh's kidnap thriller Emulsion. The latest news reveals that British actor Mem Ferda (Revolver, The Devil's Double) makes a cameo appearance as a cockney gangster Egor, as well as being on board as an executive producer. In a recent interview Ferda revealed that it was wonderful to play a character with a London based accent: "I often play Eastern European gangsters, so it was very refreshing when director Suki suggested that I play Egor, with an accent closer to my way of natural speaking" (see Mem as Egor below). Other cast members include Sam Heugan (Young Alexander the Great), Claudia Bassols (Paintball), and Lex Shrapnel (Flyboys). The film will be released in 2011. A synopsis for the film here:

"Emulsion is a psychological thriller about a man looking for his missing wife. Isabella mysteriously disappears from a car park and her husband, Ronny, becomes obsessed with finding her. Ronny attempts to stay close to her by taking a job at a local car park, where his obsession intensifies.

One night a prostitute is attacked in the car park and Ronny sees her bundled into the boot of a car. Ronny chases the assailant deep into a forest, where he eventually locates the car empty, except for a reel of film. Ronny views the film he discovers to find the truth about his wife's disappearance and the film changes his life forever!
