Analyzing the Poster Art of Lionsgate's The Next Three Days

The Next Three Days is a film from director Paul Haggis (The Valley of Elah) starring Liam Neeson (After.Life), Russell Crowe (Body of Lies) and Elizabeth Banks (The Uninvited). In the film a family is torn apart when character John Brennan's wife is accused of murder. This family man takes justice into his own hands when he circumvents the law to break his wife out of prison.

Lionsgate will release this crime thriller into theatres November 19th and this distribution company is now showing the film's first poster. In this graphic, multiple pictures show Brennan's complex escape plan, as the small photographic pieces also create the picture of this man. The synopsis for The Next Three Days:

"Life seems perfect for John Brennan until his wife, Lara, is arrested for a gruesome murder she says she didn't commit. Three years into her sentence, John is struggling to hold his family together, raising their son and teaching at college while he pursues every means available to prove her innocence. With the rejection of their final appeal, Lara becomes suicidal and John decides there is only one possible, bearable solution: to break his wife out of prison. Refusing to be deterred by impossible odds or his own inexperience, John devises an elaborate escape plot and plunges into a dangerous and unfamiliar world, ultimately risking everything for the woman he loves" (Trailer).
