Indie Horror Alert: Grief, Other Worlds, and Mutism in this Of Silence Trailer

Of Silence is an independent film from Worlds Last Hero Productions. The film puts first time director Jeremiah Sayys in the director's chair, on stage, and in the position of scriptwriter. These multiple roles for Sayys show passion and the film's first trailer asks deeper questions. Is there another dimension, which we cannot see? Does silence have power? There is no definite answer to these questions, but the premise for the film does try to take on the difficulty of losing someone. To show in 2011, horror fans cans see the trailer for Of Silence here:

The synopsis for the film:

"After returning home, a former scuba diver, Colby Van Poe, a man suffering from an inner ear medical condition, tries to cope with his wife's untimely death. The guilt of him feeling responsible for her death causes him to slip into a world of silence inhabited by strange shadows and menacing voices. His family try to cheer him up, but seem to only scratch the surface.

Could the shadows within the silence mean he is finally losing his mind, or is it possible that his ghoulish visions really exist" (Trailer)?

Release: 2011.

Director/writer: Jeremiah Sayys.
