New Action Stills for the Vampire Thriller Priest

The much anticipated Priest will now have a relese date in 2011 (May 13th). This film is currently being previewed at this year's Comic Con and the picture stars Paul Bettany (Legion), Cam Gigandet (Pandorum), and Maggie Q (Deception). The film was originally slated for an October 2010 release, but with the film still in post-production, this goal is unachievable. The film itself involves a world overrun by vampires, where a lone priest attempts to rescue his niece from the world of the damned. Read an in-depth synopsis for the picture below and let these two early movie stills excite your imagination for what will surely be one of the biggest horror, or thriller pictures for 2011.

The synopsis for Priest courtesy of Shock Till You Drop here:

"Priest, opening , is set in a world ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampires. Paul Bettany is Priest, a legendary warrior priest during the last Vampire War, who now lives in obscurity among the other human inhabitants in walled-in dystopian cities controlled by the Church. Priest is joined on his crusade by his niece's boyfriend, Hicks (Gigandet), a local outpost sheriff, and Priestess (Maggie Q), a member of his former legion of vampire-killers who has otherworldly fighting skills" (Shock).
