Michael Allen
Director Gareth Edwards got his start in film through visual effects and his first film is teaming with visual and creature effects. Monsters showed off an excellent movie poster this week and now Edward's film has a teaser trailer, which suspensefully hints at the CGI effects and at the monstrosities that inhabit the film. Horror fans need to check this film out when released October 29th and here is one vote for a wide theatrical release, not one just in LA. Are you listening Magnet?
The synopsis for Monsters here:
"NASA discovered the possibility of alien life within our solar system. A probe was launched to collect samples, but crashed upon re-entry over Central America. Soon after, new life form began to appear and half of Mexico was quarantined as an Infected Zone. Today, the American and Mexican military still struggle to contain "the creatures"...... Our story begins when a US journalist agrees to escort a shaken tourist through the infected zone in Mexico to the safety of the US border" (IMDB).
