A Mature Clip for The Goon Puts Paul Giamatti Up Against the Undead!

The Goon is an animated film, which is seeking funding from writer Eric Powell. The film is based on a 1999 comic book from Dark Horse Entertainment and the early footage for the film looks ambitious and, simply, entertaining. However, the clip is part of a promotion to entice offers of financing and support. The movie clip below also shows off the voice talents of Paul Giamatti (Shoot Em' Up), and Clancy Brown (A Nightmare on Elm Street). Have a watch as two "muscle bound brawler[s]" go mano a mano vs. an undead horde in this early clip. Then hope that this production moves ahead in to a full feature.

An overview of The Goon here:

"Based on the cult comic from Dark Horse Entertainment, created by Eric Powell in 1999, the comic follows the adventures of a muscle-bound brawler who claims to be the primary enforcer for a feared mobster. The stories have a paranormal and comedic edge to them and concern ghosts, zombies, mad scientists and 'skunk apes' (Trailer).

Writer: Eric Powell

Producer: David Fincher.

Cast: Paul Giamatti, and Clancy Brown.
