Tex: Vampire Hunter to Slay STIFF 2010 June 6th

There really are not enough vampire, or zombie styled films available. Minus The Devil's Crossing (seen here) there are not that many directors creative enough to develop this sub-genre. However, Tex: Vampire Hunter hopes to change this in Lautaro Gabriel Gonda's short feature about a gunslinger, an ex-lover, and a whole brothel of vampires. Justice will be served at the end of a gun June 6th as the horror short Tex: Vampire Hunter shows at Seattle's True Independent Film Festival. Check the trailer inside.

The synopsis for Tex: Vampire Hunter:

"In a dark version of the Old West, Tex is a gunslinger who has dedicated his life to eradicating vampires from America. His travels bring him to a brothel used by the undead as a front to lure in their victims. This evil bordello also happens to be run by his ex-lover, a beautiful vampire named Elisabeta. Tex is haunted by his past, but will he be able to discover the dark secret that binds him to his prey, or will his righteous rage blind him" (Tex).

Release Date: June 6th (Limited Release).
