Director Frank Darabont Announces Six Zombie Styled Episodes for AMC

Director Frank Darabont (The Mist, Shawshank Redemption) will be helming a series of six zombie styled episodes for AMC. A plot synopsis has not been announced, but some casting has. Jeffrey DeMunn, Darabont's long time collaborator, will be part of an ensemble cast. Darabont is also "looking to cast...two female roles" (Fearnet) for this enterprise and shooting will begin in June with digital being ignored in favour of film stock.
