The New Daughter was in Theatres?

The New Daughter, from Anchor Bay studios, will release May 18th on DVD and Blu-Ray formats, but what of the reviews? The Boston Globe newspaper describes The New Daughter as "few anticipated this under-the-radar supernatural thriller" (Boston). Apparently the film appeared in theatres without notifying anyone. Brad Miska, the managing editor at Bloody-Disgusting, says of The New Daughter: "I have to wonder why they even bothered...if no one came for the party" (Bloody)? So, there is a wide gamut of impressions on the film. With a large grace period between now and the release date, fans can do a little more digging to find out if the DVD is one of Anchor Bay's better releases.
