Boggy Creek Dusts off an Ancient Legend

Boggy Creek is definitely not a remake of 1972, as Julin (Spirit Camp) tells 28DLA.com, but an original feature that is the first to show the Caddaja. The Caddaja is an ancient creature from the ancient Caddo culture, that likes human flesh. Julin, who appears as Kay O'Brien in the feature, also states that the film was shot in the north-east of Texas near Louisiana. Lots of swamps here. Also, director Brian T. Jaynes sums up the plot of the film succintly: "it's a thriller that centers around a story of five young kids who get caught out in a swamp in Boggy Creek, Texas" and "we painted our own version of Sasquatch." The Bigfoot could really use a revamp. So, check out some of these pictures of Julin, the set, and her co-star Cory Hart as Dustin O'Brien.
