Now that Slamdance, Sundance, and Horrorfest 4 are each ready to kick-off this month the trailers and movie promos' are coming in fast and heavy. One trailer that stands out, other than Sean Carter's Culebra, is Chris Sparling's story of a convoy driver kidnapped in Iraq (Buried). Buried stars Ryan Reynolds (Blade: Trinity) as Paul Conroy the driver who awakens in basically a coffin with amnesia. Things become clearer for Conroy and the audience as the film progresses. A synopsis for Buried:
"Paul is a U.S. contractor working in Iraq. After an attack by a group of Iraqis he wakes to find he buried alive inside a coffin. With only a lighter and a cell phone it's a race against time to escape this claustrophobic death trap."
