A Case 39 Release Date?

When will Case 39 be released? Apparently the film has undergone "years on the shelf, [with] negative reviews [coming] out of London," from one source (Bloody-Disgusting). According to IMDB there will be a January 1st, 2010 release date for the film, but already Case 39 has been delayed by twelve months. So when will the film be revealed? Fans will have to wait a little bit longer for this Hollywood shot flick. Have a look at the trailer for the film and decide for yourself if Case 39 is worth watching.

A synopsis for Case 39 here:

"Emily Jenkins (Renée Zellweger) is a family services social worker. Emily thinks she has seen it all until she meets her newest, most mysterious case, troubled 10-year old Lilith Sullivan (Jodelle Ferland). Emily's worst fears are confirmed when the parents try to kill Lilith, their only daughter. Emily saves her and decides to take her in herself until the right foster family comes along.
