Something to Sink Your Teeth into: Sodium Babies


"Sodium Babies," is a French film from directors Benoit Decallion and Julian Decallion; the film is currently searching for North American distribution through Big Screen Entertainment Group. This vampire genre movie has already received critical praise from European film fans. And completed over an unusually long five year production phase the trailer, with English subtitles, is available for viewing now. Also, described as "...very original, extremely visual, and [with a] powerful story..." "Sodium Babies," will require additional fan interest in order to bring this vampire story to North American theatres. Sodium Babies is a journey down the rabbit hole of schizophrenia through the eyes of Dead Dog, a ghoul, aka., Vampire slave, trapped in servitude to the Prince of Vampires. Kept on a very short figurative leash by the Ghoul leader, an insanely masochistic Max, Dead Dog is trained to kill innocent human victims and drain their blood, which is then transported to the Vampire Prince. After decades of service, Dead Dog longs to free himself from the brutal madness of his unending life. When he meets Pussycat, a junkie club girl working for a rival vampire gang, Dead Dog finds a purpose to his existence in sacrificing himself so that she might live (Dread).
