Embodiment of Evil Not Suitable After Lunch: Movie Poster, Synopsis and Trailer



Already available to those in the greater Philadephia district "Embodiment of Evil," is being described as, "demonic malevolence." A DVD release date is unavailable, but one of the most shocking trailers, visually, is making the rounds for horror film fans. Brazilian director Jose Mojica Marins is the man behind the camera for "Embodiment of Evil," and he is known as the, "Brazilian Dario Argento." Offering themes involving, "rape, reproduction, and sexual mutilation," this film is not for the faint of heart and neither is the trailer (Tene).

A synopsis for "Embodiment of Evil," below...


After forty years in prison, the evil gravedigger Josefel Zanatas a.k.a. Zé do Caixão is released by the lawyer Lucy Pontes in accordance with Brazilian Laws. He moves to the slums with his followers that worship him, and he seeks out the perfect woman to bear his children while haunted by the ghosts of his victims. The vigilante brothers Captain Osvaldo Pontes and his brother Coronel Claudiomiro from the Military Police chase Zé do Caixão in the slums to kill him and they find a track of tortured and mutilated bodies (Internet).

Release Date: April 3 (Philadelphia).

Rating: Not rated, but definitely a hard R.

HA! Yeah, but I know that the meat hooks're fake, the spider isn't! Plus, there's more chance of me getting nixed by a vampire than a killer armed with meathooks. :D
