Jessica's life hits a few hurdles as her husband and brother-in-law collide in a head on car crash. Both men are in a coma until one day her husband reawakens, but now he seems more mysterious and a little off, yet with a dark plan slowly unfolding it is possibly too late to find the truth. Everyone will need to deal with the after effects of a horrifying accident and the supernatural in a new way (Humsurfer).
Release Date: February 6, 2009.
Rating: PG-13 for violence, disturbing images, some sexuality and language.

It seems like "Possession," is going to theatres rather than straight to DVD with a early February, 2009 release date. Although, due to the changing release dates from December, 2008, January, 2009, and now February, 2009 this film will be shown in approximately 1900 theatres according to the Internet Movie Database. For most movies this would be in the limited release range, but "Possession," is in a much better position to be seen with a limited release than a straight to DVD promotion.
