Feast II: Sloppy Seconds Will Have Viewers Laughing

A little background...

The original "Feast," was an entry into the "Project Greenlight 3," contest, which was a filmmaking endeavour supported by Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, and Chris Moore. "Feast," was the winner. Started in 2001 "Project Greenlight," has promoted many amateur movie projects of varying genres, and in 2005 "Feast," received the funding necessary to finish production and distribution. The relative success of the original "Feast," has spawned two sequels; "Feast II: Sloppy Seconds," and "Feast III: The Happy Finish." As well, "Feast II" Sloppy Seconds." has recently been released in late October, 2008 and the second sequel has been promised a 2009 release date (Wiki).

A brief synopsis...

"Feast II: Sloppy Seconds," takes place immediately following the first film, in the desert with a group of townspeople fighting off a monster attack. The addition of; a Biker Queen (Diane Goldner), Thunder (Martin Klebba), and Lightning (Juan Longoria Garcia) provide some back-up, but many people are unliklely to survive this second night of relentless animal attacks (Static).

Rating: Rated R for pervasive horror violence and gore, disturbing images, crude sexuality, nudity, language and brief drug use.

Release Date: October 7, 2009.

Starring: Jenny Wade, Clu Gulager, Diane Goldner, Martin Klebba, Carl Anthony Payne II, Juan Longoria Garcia and Tom Gulager.

Director: Jonh Gulager (Internet).

And now the review...

The original "Feast," is low budget horror success story, but its sequel does not live up to the creativity and spontaneity of the the first. "Feast," is a film that uses its small financing to build a unique story, in a claustrophobic environment that never offers a reason or an explanation to the monster attacks. "Feast II: Sloppy Seconds," utilizes its small budget to show multiple sets, more characters, and the creatures up close. A lot of the mystery, intensity, and suspense are gone in the sequel, however "Feast II: Sloppy Seconds," is a lot of fun to watch with some good laughs (Horror).

The use of a blue/green screen in the second half of "Feast II: Sloppy Seconds," looks bizarre and the ending is basically cut off to leave viewers anticipating the sequel. As well, the addition of so many characters creates more diverging plot lines, which becomes distracting after awhile. On the other hand, this sequel adds quite a few hilarious scenes i.e. a monster autopsy scene with the release of sperm on some screaming biker girls, a cat-raping scene, a baby sacrifice sequence and a rotting grandmother who is used as catapult ammo. All of these scenes are hilarious to view and make the film very rememberable and enjoyable overall (Horror).

"Feast II: Sloppy Seconds," is now out at your local video store or on Netflix.com. If you are in the mood for a light-hearted movie with lots of t & a (tits and ass) then check this slightly sloppy film out (Horror).

Ha!ha! Yeah, Dimension films. They always come out with these subpar flicks. I like some of them though. I like how you describe the films and give alot of detail about them. You make them sound like more than what they are, and that's good writing. I need to practice on that. Oh,and I stumbled it.Hopefully it will get you some good traffic. You might wanna put a stumble upon button under your posts to get more stumbles.

Seems B-movieish from the trailer.
