Beyond the Woods is a psychological thriller. From Vortex Media, this title was shot in the rugged areas of Westwold, British Columbia. As well, Brayden DeMorest-Purdy ("Compulsion") created this indie thriller, with co-writer Steven Roberts. A preview of the film's North American launch is here.
Already released this week (Dec. 15th), Beyond the Woods follows Det. Reeves (Broadus Mattison) and his investigation of a local murder. Another person has been kidnapped and Reeves must solve this mystery, before this killer claims another victim.
Beyond the Woods was released in several territories earlier this month, on Tubi TV. Now, this title is showing in Canada, through this online platform. An award winner, Beyond the Woods promises an exciting time, in a brutal landscape.
