2067 Goes Even Farther into the Future this November 17th on Home Entertainment Formats

Tagline: "The Fight for the Future has Begun."

2067 is a sci-fi thriller. Building on fears of climate change, the future is ravaged by the toxification of the environment. Then, a message is sent from the future to the present, with hope for humanity. This title has been developed by visual effects artist and director Seth Larney. As well, Kodi Smit-McPhee ("Interrogation"), Ryan Kwanten and Leeanna Walsman star in this feature, which will release on DVD this November 17th.

Larney has been working on the script for 2067 since 2005. He says of the development process: "it took about 10 years to get the draft to a point where it was really financeable and ready to shoot (AintitCool)." Filmmaking requires patience. Also, Larney talks of his inspiration for this sci-fi drama, which revolves around fears of the changing environment: "we're going to wait until the sign is so obvious that we've kind of missed the boat, so to speak, before we do something about it (climate)." You can see some of Larney's apprehension for the future in the trailer below.

2067 has already released on Digital platforms, this past October. Now, this title is set to show on DVD and Blu-ray in the middle of November (Nov. 17th). To show in an unrated format, this release will not host any special features. RLJ Entertainment will handle this secondary release and all of the home entertainment details are below.
