The Unfamiliar to Haunt Cannes and Audiences Worldwide: A Preview

The Unfamiliar is a supernatural thriller. From director Henk Pretorius (Leading Lady), the film follows a British Army doctor, with PTSD. When Elizabeth settles into her home, both spirits and troubling memories begin to haunt her. The film was co-written by Jennifer Nicole Stang. And, The Unfamiliar stars: Jemima West ("The Borgias"), Christopher Dane and Rebecca Hanssen. A newish poster was released for the film, along with some release details.

The film was produced by Dark Matter, in the United Kingdom. As well, a few territories have announced distribution plans. Vertical Entertainment will show the film in North America. Meanwhile, Lionsgate and Quantify Distribution Limited will be hosting the UK release. There are also plans to show the film in South Africa. A worldwide roll-out of The Unfamiliar is underway.

The Unfamiliar next appearance will be held at Cannes. Held virtually this year, Scoundrel Media will show the film at this prestigious event, shortly. A trailer is expected to release soon. Fans of supernatural horror can find the latest on The Unfamiliar here.
