Spirits Rise at the Another Hole in the Head Film Festival with The Dead Ones

The Dead Ones is a horror film from director Jeremy Kasten (The Thirst). Set to have its U.S. premiere in December, the film focuses on four outcast teens and their Summer detention duty. In their High School, they are confronted by a group of spirits, representing the four horsemen of the apocalypse: Famine, Pestilence, War and Death. A trailer was released for the film recently and can be found below. As well, the film stars: Sarah Rose Harper (You Have a Nice Flight), Brandon Thane Wilson (Damages), Katie Foster, Torey Garza and Claire Kramer. The film's synopsis mentions the teens' traumas. They are forced to relive their pasts as the spirits torment them. Can they team up to fight these horrors, or are they doomed by their history?

The Dead Ones looks like a decent indie, horror feature. The film's official trailer offers lots of blood effects and monsters. Though, the High School might be beyond repair. Fans of indie horror are encouraged to take a look below. Finally, if you are in the San Francisco area, the film will show at the Another Hole in the Head Film Festival - this December 14th.
