Bar-b-q Gone Wrong Horror Comedy Garden Party Massacre Debuts on Amazon Prime this Week

Garden Party Massacre is the latest film from director Gregory Blair (Deadly Revisions). Already released on home entertainment formats (DVD, Blu-ray), this title is debuting on Amazon Prime this week. In the film, several friends put together a Bar-b-q. But, there is one uninvited guest and a pickaxe. This title has won a number of awards, at several film festivals. And, the film stars: Andy Gates ("Grimm"), Lise Hart (Deadly Revisions), Nichole Bagby ("On The Rocks"), Dawna Lee Heising (Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance) and Matt Weinglass ("Jimmy Kimmel Live!"). An updated poster and official trailer are hosted here, to celebrate the film's release.

The director has spoken about the film and its movie to Amazon. He says of the launch: "we're excited to finally open the door and widen the audience through VOD...streaming has become the preferred home-viewing option and Amazon Prime is one of the leading platforms, so we thought that was a great place to start." Digital films are always just a button press away. Blair also notices the changing trends in physical media: "but collectors will still want to get the DVD or Bluray, because we all know that physical media is the only way to guarantee you can watch the movie when you want, since streaming catalogues change all the time." Even the purchase of a film online does not guarantee that you will own it in the future. Digital ownership is a fickle thing.

It has been confirmed that Garden Party Massacre is currently showing on Amazon Prime as of October 9th. Indie horror fans can see the film there, or purchase a DVD, or Blu-ray at the distributor's website, found below. Well reviewed, this is one film that film fans will not want to miss!
