Quentin Tarantino: The Iconic Filmmaker and His Work: An In-depth Look and Overview

A new book is coming this October for cinephiles. This hardcover book is titled Quentin Tarantino: The Iconic Filmmaker and His Work and was developed by author Ian Nathan. To be released by White Lion Publishing, this book is full of interesting details on Tarantino's life and his many associations with filmmakers. Absolutely stock full of images, this page-turner also takes a look behind the scenes at Tarantino's work and what films influenced each of his many releases. This is a true entry for fans of film and should not be missed.

Author Nathan and publisher White Lion promise an "intimate look at the cult filmmaker of our generation" and they deliver. There is an absolute hoard of information here. From Tarantino's early life and love for film to his later ascension into Hollywood, there is a look at each stage of this iconic director's life. This book also provides lots of inserts of info' and graphics to fully flesh out Tarantino's experience as a director and his many interactions with those part of his filmmaking life. There is a lot of depth within Quentin Tarantino: The Iconic Filmmaker and His Work and a tonne of information.

At the heart of this account, there is a large 8-page foldout. These series of graphics show how each film was developed, sometimes over the course of years. From True Romance (1993) to Natural Born Killers (1994), this book goes the extra mile to show how each film came-to-be.

This encyclopedia on Tarantino comes out this October 1st. At 176 pages and with at least 100 images, there is a lot to digest here. Though, the writing is never pretentious or over-bearing. Great for some personal reading time, Quentin Tarantino: The Iconic Filmmaker and His Work is for fans of film, or for fans of Tarantino himself. This cinephile is sure there are tonnes of people who will enjoy this release. And, who knew that 80 films influenced Tarantino's work on Kill Bill Volume 1: "[there are] eighty separate films referenced by Kill Bill Volume 1 from Hitchcock's Marnie to retro Japanese horror Goke...and Ishiro Honda's monster movie War of the Gargantuas?"
