The Curse of Buckout Road Winds its Way to Digital Platforms September 27th!

It has been awhile since there has been word on Matthew Currie Holmes' The Curse of Buckout Road. Previously titled the shorter Buckout Road, this film was making its way around the film festival circuit in 2017. In 2019, The Curse of Buckout Road is preparing for a wide release, via Vertical Entertainment. In the film, several college students investigate an urban legend, revolving around one of the U.S.'s most haunted roads. Involving several strange myths, these students find themselves caught in the road's curse. As well, this title stars: Colm Feore (The Prodigy), Danny Glover (Lethal Weapon), Evan Ross, Henry Czerny and Dominique Provost-Chalkley. An update on the film's upcoming release is hosted here.

Beginning in 2017, The Curse of Buckout Road has travelled to several film festivals. At many of these showings, the film has won awards. At the Pasadena International Film Festival, this title won a "Best Feature Film" award, with other wins at the Hot Springs Horror Film Festival and the Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival. The Curse of Buckout Road has won a number of accolades.

On September 27th, this horror film will show in a few theatres and on Digital platforms. To show in an unrated format, The Curse of Buckout Road is a short film of ninety-five minutes. And, The Curse of Buckout Road promises to deliver some decent scares on one of America's most notorious backroads!
