Katie Stevens Stars in this Terrifying Trailer for Haunt (Out September 13th)

Haunt is the latest film from writers Scott Beck and Bryan Woods (A Quiet Place). Produced by Eli Roth (The Green Inferno), Haunt takes place in a side road amusement park. Here, real killers torment their victims, behind closed doors. This horror title stars: Will Brittain (Kong: Skull Island), Katie Stevens (Polaroid), Andrew Caldwell ("iZombie"), Lauryn Alisa McClain and many others. Already slated to show this September, Haunt was shot in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. And, based on the trailer, this horror thriller will host lots of scares.

The synopsis does not reveal much. Several friends track down an extreme haunted house. The ride promises to feed on their darkest fears. And, this is one ride where nightmares become real.

The use of haunted house rides has been utilized a lot in the horror genre. From Tyler Christensen's House of Purgatory (2016) to the underground Amusement (2008), killers and murderers are always using these attractions to lure in their victims. One of the better films, in this style, is the 2018 Blood Fest. All of these films keep the victims on the run, until the bitter end.

Momentum Pictures is handling the film's U.S. theatrical launch. On September 13th, Haunt will be available nationwide. Other territories, outside of Norway, have not announced theatrical screenings, yet. Horror fans looking for something a bit different can find the latest on Haunt below.
