There is No Rest for the Wicked in this First Trailer for Doctor Sleep

Tagline: "The World Will Shine Again."

Warner Bros. has debuted a trailer for Mike Flanagan's (Hush, 2016) Doctor Sleep. A sequel to Stephen King's The Shining, this second film picks up fourty years after the first film. Danny Torrance (Ewan McGregor) still has a gift, which allows him to tap into the supernatural. But, this gift might be a curse for him and some of the others he has recently met. Doctor Sleep also stars: Rebecca Ferguson (Mission: Impossible), Kyliegh Curran and a few others. Slated for a theatrical run later this year, the film's full trailer is below.

This second film also focuses on Danny. Scarred from his encounters at the Overlook Hotel, Danny is still trying to piece his life together. He soon meets another peculiar person, Abra. Also gifted with the shine, Abra hopes to recruit an ally, against Rose the Hat and her fellow cultists.

Warner Bros. will show this film on November 8th, across North America. The film will go global shortly after. And, the master of horror, Stephen King, welcomes viewers back into Danny's world, fourty years after the release of the first film. More details on Doctor Sleep are below.
