A Killer Unicorn Stalks the Underground Drag Queen Dance Scene in Brooklyn: Release Details

Killer Unicorn is a slasher film, from Brooklyn, New York. Set in the underground Drag Queen party scene, Killer Unicorn involves a stalk-and-chase plotline, in which one vengeful murderer is targeting everyone else. Recently acquired by Indican Pictures, this title stars several colourful characters including: Lady Havok, Isis Vermouth and Latrice Royale. This indie film was directed by Drew Bolton, from a script by Jose D. Alvarez. Horror fans, in the United States, will be able to see Killer Unicorn in theatres, next week; a look ahead to the film's wide, domestic release is hosted here.

The filmmakers have compared this horror title to others. Writer Alvarez mentions being inspired by John Waters and John Carpenter. So, fans will find references to films such as: "I Know What You Did Last Summer, Scream and Halloween." Alvarez also mentions this film is: "equal parts scary, campy and queer." As pride month quick off this week, Killer Unicorn looks to kick off celebrations with a bit of bloodshed.
