Indie Horror Title Alive to Show at this Year's AFM: New Poster

Tagline: "Maybe Dead is Better."

Alive is an indie horror film, from Calgary, Alberta. Completed in 2018, the film has gone onto a film festival run, which finished later that same year. Now, this title has been picked up by sales agent SC Films International, for a possible wider release. A new poster has been release for the film. And, this title involves an injured man and woman, who end up in an abandoned hospital. Here, they must face a sadistic caretaker. Alive stars: Angus Macfadyen (Braveheart), Thomas Cocquerel (Kidnapping Mr. Heineken) and Camille Stopps - with the film directed by Rob Grant (Fake Blood). An update on the film is available here.

A trailer for Alive was released in 2018 (found below). The clip shows the caretaker tormenting his two, new patients. Probably not a licensed doctor, this villain just can't let these patients go.

Alive is expected to show at this year's American Film Market, in Santa Monica. Likely to show at future film markets, the film's latest poster shows a bloodied hand, sketching the film's title. And, the tagline "maybe dead is better" portends at what is in store for the film's characters. Horror fans should keep their eyes peeled this one as Alive brings a chilling tale, to distributors, throughout the year.
