Bed of the Dead Brings a Bloody Spectacle to Blu-ray Formats this June

It was Shed of the Dead earlier this week. Now, it is director Jeff Maher's directorial debut Bed of the Dead. This film, according to Black Fawn Distribution, is a strong entry in the haunted furniture sub-genre. When two couples find themselves on this antique, they will see visions of death! Bed of the Dead stars: Colin Price (The Heretics), Alyssa King (Berkshire Country), Gwenlyn Cumyn, Dennis Andre and George Krissa. This title just release on Digital platforms this week, with another Bluray/DVD combo coming out this June. A preview of the film's latest releases are hosted here.

Maher has spoken about Bed of the Dead, recently. He says of his first film and its recent home entertainment release: "it took a few years but, finally this weird little flick we made is available for your viewing pleasure." From the promotional material and from Maher, he also mentions the blood spilled in the film: "horror fans should enjoy the buckets of blood as much as the cast disliked being covered in them." Black Fawn Distribution has announced that the Blu-ray will be available in a couple of forms. The Collector's Edition will have several extras. A two disc version, the Collector's Edition will feature a slipcase, a documentary on making the film - titled "Death Bed: The Bed that Eats," a music box player with unreleased songs from Steph Copeland and more. This Blacklist version will also have a limited amount of signed copies. The regular Blu-ray/DVD combo will be available in 1080p, along with the "Death Bed" documentary and music player.
